The Freehold Arts Society will hold a meeting and demonstration at the Monmouth County Library Headquarters, 125 Symmes Drive, Manalapan, on Wednesday, July 29th, at 7:00 pm. It is free and open to the public, and refreshment will be served.
Hema Gupta, a Morganville artist, will present a program titled "Watercolor Landscape - Loose and Simple". She is a talented, self-taught artist who paints landscapes, still life, and portraits. Many of her paintings have won awards. Her work has been exhibited in Two River Community Bank in Red Bank.
The demonstration will include instruction of basic watercolor techniques. Participants will have time to do some exercises using provided materials, or they may bring their own if they choose to.
The library requests visitors to park in the Alexandria Drive parking lot behind the building. Handicapped access is available. Check at the main desk for room assignment.
