The Jewish Heritage Museum Will Host
Shofar-Making Demonstration and Crafting a Shofar
Freehold, NJ. August 13 2015. On Thursday, September 3, 2015 at 4:30 PM, the Jewish Heritage Museum of Monmouth County will host a Shofar-Making Demonstration and Crafting a Shofar for children ages seven and up. The fee is $12.00 per child. Advance reservations are necessary.
Rabbi Avrohom Bernstein of Chabad Lubavitch of Western Monmouth County will lead the program with an explanation of the shofar’s origin, and a hands-on demonstration using genuine rams’ horns. Participants will leave with their own handcrafted shofar.

The Jewish Heritage Museum is located in the Mounts Corner Shopping Center, at 310 Mounts Corner Drive Freehold, NJ, at the corner of Route 537 and Wemrock Road.
