The Freehold Art Society will hold a meeting at the Monmouth County Library Headquarters, 125 Symmes Drive, Manalapan, on Wednesday, May 25th, from 6:45 to 8:30 PM. Julie Farel, Marlboro artist and teacher, will present an entertaining and interactive program, "Having Fun With Colored Pencils and Adult Design Coloring Books". She will speak about how this current craze began and the history of colored pencils. Participants will learn various techniques to create designs on pre-printed sheets which will be provided. Some colored pencils will be available for those who don't have any. If your prefer to draw your own design, bring paper or card stock to the meeting.
    The meeting is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served. The library requests you park in the rear of the building off Alexandria Drive. Handicapped access is available. Check with the front desk for room assignment.
