This years Parade Grand Marshals are Carol Stillwell, and Maryann Larkin, (Stillwell-Hansen).
As usual, the parade is just the beginning of the day. The short and fun parade is just a warm up for a celebration of cultural arts. At the end of the parade we will have Irish dance, music, and more performing on the main stage in front of the Hall of records. Some of the featured artists will be the Rosemary Warnock-Seery School of Irish Dance, The Monmouth County Police and Fire Pipe and Drum, and the Patrick Torphy Pipe and Drum, bagpipes and more.
This year we are also adding some more fun to the day's events. The FBAC will be awarding trophies for the best dressed baby under 3 years old, best dressed dog, and best decorated bicycle.
After the entertainment at the Hall of Records, all are invited to join us at the Knights of Columbus located sat 70 East Main Street, Freehold. The FBAC is sponsoring the Pat Roddy Band and the Knights of Columbus will be selling corned beef sandwiches for $5 and dinner platters for $7. Proceeds from the food sales go to the Knights of Columbus charitable campaigns.
The Freehold Borough Arts Council is a 501c(3) non profit organization with the mission to provide, champion and inspire the arts. We depend on sponsors, membership dues and donations to help us support local arts.
