Inspiring Concert in Freehold

Join us for an evening of uplifting and inspiring music.  Nancy Scharff and her Praise Band “King of Kings” will present a Contemporary Christian Concert featuring songs from Nancy’s latest CD’s “Come and Worship” and “Cover Me Lord”.  The concert, which begins at 7:00 PM on Saturday, October 18th, will take place at the First Presbyterian Church of Freehold located at 118 West Main Street in Freehold.  This beautiful and historic sanctuary is renowned for it’s wonderful acoustics and is also handicapped accessible.

Nancy has performed locally, throughout the US and internationally, including a tour in Perth Australia in 2009 and the Cayman Islands in fall of 2013.  She sang with Michael W. Smith at a sold out concert in Carnegie Hall and has done local “God and Country” and “Christmas Is Love” Concerts at area churches and venues such as the Count Basie Theater in Red Bank.  

Nancy grew up in Middletown and serves as the Music Director at the King of Kings Lutheran Church in Middletown.  She studied music at Montclair State University, as well as Rome, Italy and New York.  In addition to singing and playing guitar, Nancy performs and records her own original compositions.
