Dave McGrath earned an AA degree in Arts and Humanities from the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Art, and attended post graduate classes at the School of Visual Art in New York City.

His work is included in the Nabisco Corp. Gallery in East Hanover and the Cork Gallery at Lincoln Center. McGrath is also the recipient of numerous awards including the New Jersey-American Artist Professional League Merit Award for Pen & Ink Drawing. He is affiliated with the Ward-Nasse Gallery in New York City and the Art Alliance of Monmouth County.
